Instant text message notifications for the School!!

In an effort to improve communication to our school community and to help keep Belmont Primary up to date with the ever changing demands of technology, we are introducing a very clever (but easy to use) text messaging service for the school.

This  will be particularly useful when there are unscheduled changes, cancellations or urgent and important information regarding your child that does need to be delivered in a timely manner.

Because of the technology involved, and the cost of sending text messages, there will be a 50c charge to receive a message. It is really important to understand that the school will have complete control over the sending of messages, and will only send a message out when there are last minute schedule changes and important information that affect your child. While this service is not compulsory and you will have the ability to opt-in and out as you please, we will be encouraging you to use the service to ensure it can be utilised to its full potential.

How it Works
For sports team or event notifications all you need to do is register your mobile number for the team or event your child is involved with on the Belmont Primary page of the SportCheck website. This system relies on you to opt-in (register) your mobile number; you will then only be sent text messages that are specific to the team or class you have specified. There is no restriction to the number of sports or events you can opt-in to.
