PTA Newsletter March 2010
It’s hard to believe Term 1 is nearly over. It was great to see so many of you at the family picnic despite the blustery wind and cooler temperature.
The PTA has lots planned for the year to support the school. We meet the last Wednesday night of the month and our next meeting is 7.30pm Wednesday 31st in the staffroom. It would be great to have some new PTA members so come along for a wine and a chat.
In the last couple of years alone the PTA has donated funds to the school for the purchase of smartboards, heatpumps, playground equipment, computers, audiovisual equipment.
If you are keen to join the PTA, we would love to have your support. Ideally we would like to have one or two parents from each class representing their children. There are many different ways you can help, such as helping with the sausage sizzle or helping set up for events. Perhaps you have a business that could sponsor events, or have goods or services that you could provide for fundraising. If you do we would love to hear from you.
