Meeting opened at 7.30 pm

Outstanding actions from previous Minutes:
Need to discuss amount of another donation to BPS – see below.
Treasurer’s Report:
Closing balance as of 7 November = $17,253.99. More money to be raised from selling diaries this year and the Smurfs movie raised approximately $1,200. Agreed to transfer $10,000 to BPS, with hopefully a little more to come after Family Fun night.
Action: Jules to transfer funds
Principals Report:
No report received. Ruth advised all teachers planning to stay with BPS in 2012 and that the Board of Trustees have budgeted for $30,000 from PTA fundraising for 2012 (increased from $20,000).

No representative was present at the meeting.
Fundraising:
Family Fun Night – 18 Nov, 5.00-8.00pm
The International Committee are kindly going to prepare and sell a wide range of foods from a variety of countries. They want to set up in front of the Senior block and will need 8 tables. As we don’t have that many, extras will need to be loaned from Bayswater school.
The disco will run from 7-8pm, with hair, nails and face-painting finishing at 7pm. Ellie will organize music.
Alison and Katie M will prepare some chance games and will need lollies/chocs as prizes. Agreed on: gum boot toss, sponge soaker, grid throw and lotto games.
School Fair – rescheduled for Saturday 28th April
Action: Communication to parents with confirmed date ASAP
Other Fundraising:
- Santa Parade on Sunday 4th December – suggestion of ‘flash mob’ dance that Room 4 did for their assembly item
