Homework
Each week you will need to learn 15 spelling words. 10 words will be given to you and the other 5 you will choose yourself from either the previous week's incorrectly spelled words, words from your writing book or words from the dictionary. You will also be given a basic facts practice sheet which you will also be tested on.  You should be reading a book of your own choice for at least 30 minutes per day.


Music
Music class is every Thursday morning with Mrs Harvey in the Music
Room

Swimming
We have a 4 day swimming timetable during which Room 1 swims on days 1,  2 and  3.  Rather than trying to remember which day it is, please be prepared and bring your swimming gear every day.



Library
Our library day is Thursday after morning tea

Poem of the Week
On Friday you will take your poetry book home with a new poem to share with your family.  Please remember to bring your book back to school before the following Friday
